Our Cement Boards are available in 1.2m or 2.4m lengths and a selection of three thicknesses to be adaptable to specific applications. 6mm is often used for backing concrete floors, 9mm and 12mm work well behind walls, with 12mm Boards being recommended for high-traffic areas such as corridors due to increased strength and soundproofing ability. The thickest option of 18mm is the most robust and works well for underfloor heating systems and new build floors due to the low risk of movement. Lightweight and easy to handle, they are simple to install using a flexible adhesive, countersunk screws or backer tape on tiling projects.
