We manufacture standing seam sheeting to length made from SSAB pre-coated galvanised Swedish steel. Innovatively designed to conceal fixings, standing seam creates a sleek, modern architectural look. Standing seam sheeting is a popular roofing and wall cladding material in domestic and commercial settings.
The GreenCoat® Pural BT coating is sustainably produced using Swedish rapeseed oil which allows for a corrosion, weather, scratch and UV-resistant surface offering a life of up to 40 years depending on the environment. Cladco standing seam roof sheets are made from steel that is A1 fire-rated to BS EN 13501.
Made to length in our factory, Cladco standing seam roofing sheets can be produced in lengths of up to 7 metres and provide coverage of 500mm in width when lapped. We make our standing seam sheeting with two options:
With or without ribs: Ribs in the flat part of the sheet help prevent drumming in high winds and oil canning, where the sheeting may bow or wave in the flat part due to inconsistencies in the roof sub-structure. The design without ribs is often chosen for aesthetic appeal.
With or without an eaves fold: When used for roofing, this is a fold at the bottom of the sheet that can be further folded onto an eaves flashing to make for a more secure bottom edge. When using standing seam sheeting for side cladding, an eaves fold would not usually be required.
An extensive range of flashings are available to install with our standing seam sheets to complete your roofing or cladding project.
