Delivery

We will always endeavour to give you an adequate notice period prior to your delivery. We ensure deliveries are Monday to Friday and not delivered at weekends. This is also applicable for Royal Mail, Evri, Pall-Ex and Parcelforce deliveries.

Please read carefully the information below before completing an order.

Cost of delivery

For most orders to England and Wales, delivery costs are calculated based on order value. Orders under £1,000 are charged at £192, while orders over £1,000 are charged at £96. Orders over £1,500 qualify for free delivery. Please note, however, that roofing items require a longer lead time of 7–10 working days, regardless of order value.

For deliveries to Scotland, a flat rate of £360 applies to all orders. This includes areas within the following postcode regions: PA, PH, DD, AB, IV, and KW. Delivery to remote or Highland areas may incur an additional charge. If your postcode falls within these regions, please enter it at checkout to confirm the delivery cost, or contact us on 01837 659901. For Scottish Isles, deliveries must be made to a pre-arranged port, as we can only deliver to ports in these areas.

Millboard decking orders are charged separately. Orders under £2,000 are charged at £192, with free delivery available on orders over £2,000. Delivery time remains approximately 5 working days.

Internal Slatted Wall Panels are delivered via Pall-Ex with a fixed delivery charge of £96.

Sample packs are sent free of charge via Evri, and we also offer Parcelforce services for other small items. Standard Parcelforce delivery costs £8.50 for small parcels and £30 for larger ones, with delivery typically within 3–5 working days.

Free delivery is available on orders over £1,500 (including VAT) to addresses in England and Wales. This excludes Scotland.

Delivery Schedule

Standard deliveries to England and Wales take up to 5 working days from the date of order. However, roofing items require a longer lead time of 7–10 working days, which applies regardless of location or order value.

Deliveries to Scotland can take up to 15 working days. This includes all product types, although roofing items will still follow the 7–10 working day timeframe within that window. Delivery times may vary based on location and accessibility.

Internal Slatted Wall Panels are typically delivered within 48 hours after dispatch via Pall-Ex. For small items and sample packs sent via Evri, delivery usually takes between 3–5 working days. Parcelforce deliveries for small and large parcels also take approximately 3–5 working days.

We deliver Monday to Friday only and do not offer weekend or bank holiday delivery, regardless of the courier service. While we aim to meet the estimated delivery windows, dates are subject to change and your order may arrive slightly earlier or later than expected. We will always aim to keep you informed where possible.

Delivery access and considerations

Please use the Delivery Remarks field at checkout to let us know about any access restrictions, unavailable dates, or times during the day when delivery cannot be made.

Important: We strongly recommend that you do not book any installers or tradespeople until your order has arrived and has been fully checked. This helps avoid unnecessary delays or costs if issues occur during transit.

If you live in an area with restricted access, such as narrow lanes or height/weight limits, or if there are any concerns about reaching your property, please contact us before placing your order. Our transport team needs to be made aware of any limitations in advance, as our vehicles are large and require adequate space to manoeuvre.

Once you've placed your order

Please provide two working telephone numbers, ideally one being a mobile number so our transport team can send delivery updates via text message.

Once your order has been picked and scheduled, you'll receive a text message with your delivery date. Our drivers will also aim to call ahead before arriving at your address. Please bear with us during busy periods, as exact delivery slots may vary.

Most of our deliveries are made using vehicles larger than 7.5 tonnes, with some reaching up to 26 tonnes, so it’s essential to ensure your address can accommodate vehicles of this size.

If your order includes items from multiple product categories — for example, roofing and decking — these may be delivered separately on different vehicles, as part of our safe and efficient distribution process.

Once you’ve received your delivery confirmation via text or email, please notify us of any changes to your availability at least 24 hours in advance. Changes made after this cut-off may result in additional delivery charges.

This is an approximate size comparison of our 26-tonne lorries to a standard bin lorry.

What Happens On The Day of Delivery?

Cladco offers a kerbside delivery service only, which does not include the driver carrying products any distance to his/her property. Deliveries can only be made on flat, solid surfaces and cannot be made on steep inclines.

If the vehicle is invited onto the customer’s property, it is entirely at the risk of the customer. Cladco and its drivers will not be liable for any damage to the property. Please note that we can only deliver to ground floor/level locations.

Not all our delivery lorries have cranes and it is the customer’s responsibility to provide assistance to the driver to help unload. Please bear in mind that the items delivered can be heavy and sharp. Anyone giving assistance to the driver should wear suitable gloves and clothing, and must also be physically capable to assist.

When delivered, your products may arrive on a timber pallet with additional packaging surrounding the goods. The pallet, as well as any further packaging, are deemed necessary precautions and are assigned as part of your order. Therefore, the responsibility of disposing of any packaging will be solely down to the recipient of the goods.

Making Changes To Your Order

In order for us to ensure that you receive the exact goods you have ordered, any changes you deem necessary to your order will result in your order being cancelled and re-raised.

We may need to create a second order to follow on from an initial delivery. We cannot edit existing orders, as this helps us to avoid any confusion and to provide a better service to all of our customers.

Certain product lines are available for collection from our Okehampton (Devon) HQ. This option will show at checkout, where available.

Standard collection lead time is 3-5 working days. Please note, this may vary depending on the product.

Vehicles we can and cannot load

For insurance and safety reasons, Cladco Profiles will only load flatbed lorries and flatbed trailers. These vehicles allow for safe, secure loading using our forklift equipment.

We are unable to load the following types of vehicles under any circumstances:

  • Vehicles with roof racks
  • Horse boxes or livestock trailers
  • Cattle lorries
  • Fixed-sided trailers
  • Enclosed vans or vehicles where forklift access is restricted

If you do not have a suitable flatbed vehicle, you must bring at least two people to assist with loading your order manually. Please note, Cladco reserves the right to refuse loading any vehicle if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

Before booking your collection, please ensure you have read and understood our Customer Collection Notice, which outlines your responsibilities and important safety information.

Customer Collection Notice

When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.

Please be aware that during busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We do our best to work within your booked collection time, but failure to book a time slot in advance may lead to extended wait times or an inability to process your collection on the day.

We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:

  • Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
  • Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
  • We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
  • If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
  • Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Returns

Returns can be arranged through our Customer Support Team, and are subject to our terms and conditions. If you wish to return a product, please email [email protected] stating your order number, contact details and goods to be returned, within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods (we do not collect returns).

Returns are made at the customer’s cost, and must be sent via a signed for, tracked secure service. Once received, we will issue a refund*, as long as the product is in an acceptable, and resaleable condition. Please note, all non-faulty items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and products cannot be returned if they have been installed, laid or screwed with fixings.

Cladco are not responsible for any items damaged or lost in transit when returning to us. *Custom made products, such as Fibre Cement trims are ineligible for return unless faulty.
