Millboard® Envello Cladding Aluminium Perforated Closure Trim 3m
This Millboard® Envello aluminium perforated closure trim is specifically designed for use with Millboard® Envello cladding boards. Installed behind the boards, it protects the ventilated cavity by preventing insects and small rodents from gaining access. It also maintains essential airflow, helping preserve the performance and appearance of your cladding system. It should be used wherever there is an open entry point to a ventilated cavity.
Why Do You Need To Use Millboard® Envello Cladding Aluminium Perforated Closure Trims?
This 3m-long Millboard® Envello aluminium perforated closure trim is designed to prevent insects and rodents from entering the ventilated cavity behind the cladding boards, while still allowing essential airflow.
It can be installed in multiple areas throughout your cladding project, including at the base alongside the starter trim, independently at the top, and in conjunction with corner profiles, for effective protection and ventilation across the system.
This perforated closure trim is suited to 25mm or 50mm batten sizes and is used alongside Millboard® Envello Shadow Line+ and Envello Board & Batten+ cladding ranges.

For optimal placement, the perforated closure should be positioned between the back of your battens and the wall. This should be considered when fixing the battens. Alternatively, the perforated closure can be fixed to the front of the battens using the 20mm stainless steel fixings.
When using perforated closure trims with external or internal corner profiles, you will need to attach them to the back of your corner profiles using 20mm stainless steel screws at 200mm intervals. These are then secured to the battens at the corners. When installing a square corner trim, a similar process is followed.
For full installation instructions and a list of required tools, see the Shadow Line+ cladding horizontal installation guide (or the vertical installation guide), or refer to the Board & Batten+ cladding horizontal installation guide (or the vertical installation guide), depending on the range you’re working with.
