Cladco Composite Decking
What’s in Cladco Composite Decking?
We offer our Signature composite decking boards made from 60% FSC® certified recycled wood fibres and 40% recycled plastics, combined with bonding agents and colour tints. This original decking board provides a stylish alternative to timber, requiring less maintenance and featuring attractive colour variations.
Our ProDeck composite boards represent a next-generation decking solution, offering increased durability thanks to a polymer-capped shell. This protective layer shields the composite core from potential damage, enhancing the board’s longevity.
Composite Decking: Simple to Clean and Maintain
Cladco composite decking is resistant to rot, splintering, and warping due to the plastic components within the composite mix. Unlike timber decking, neither of our composite boards require sealing, staining, or painting.
Signature composite decking boards should be kept clear of debris and standing water for prolonged periods to prevent potential damage, whereas our ProDeck composite boards require less maintenance thanks to their protective capped surface.
How to Install Composite Decking
Our composite boards can be cut to length using standard woodworking tools. Use stainless steel screws and t-clips to securely fix the decking boards to a suitable joist subframe, ensuring a sturdy structure and straightforward installation.

Please note: Natural colour variations in our Signature composite decking boards are expected due to the high timber content within the product. To minimise these variations, we recommend ordering all your boards in one batch. Additionally, boards of different lengths may also display noticeable colour differences. The appearance of the boards can vary between wet and dry weather, which can make these colour differences more apparent.
After installation, the decking undergoes a stabilisation period as the material adjusts to its outdoor environment, typically within six months. The degree of weathering will depend on sun exposure and local weather conditions.

Bamboo Decking
About Bamboo Decking Boards
Manufactured from fast-regenerating, renewable bamboo, these boards offer an environmentally responsible alternative to other traditional hardwoods. The dense structure of the bamboo hardwood decking boards makes it able to withstand general wear and tear and be adaptable to either domestic or commercial projects. The natural resistance of the bamboo itself also makes these boards more immune to rot, mildew and potential corrosion to provide long-lasting performance.
Maintaining Bamboo Decking Boards
Although maintenance is needed for bamboo boards, it is easy to do and essential for enhancing the performance of the boards. We recommend to re-oil the boards every 6-12 months in order to protect as well as to preserve the warm-toned hardwood finish. To clean the decking, simply remove any debris with a soft broom and rinse with clean water to remove any dirt. Avoid using any grit, sand, metal or plastic spades as this may scratch the surface of the bamboo boards.

Aluminium Decking
Cladco Aluminium
Decking Boards
Our aluminium decking boards are designed for durability and longevity. Fire-rated (A2-S1) aluminium decking is non-combustible and provides commercial spaces and decked balconies with the perfect decking type, where certain building regulations need to be complied with. As a metal product, aluminium decking boards are powder-coated, making them highly resistant to weathering, pests and other potential damages from impacts, giving your area a hard-wearing decking surface. These extremely tough boards are UV stable and resist expansion and contraction due to temperature changes and general wear and tear.
Maintaining Aluminium
Decking Boards
Aluminium decking is easy to maintain throughout its lifetime. We recommend regularly clearing away any debris or standing water off the surface of the boards. This cleaning process will also improve the safety element of your area to prevent slipping. Standard everyday plants, leaves and grime can be removed by brushing your deck with a stiff-bristled broom in the direction of the grooves. We recommend avoiding cleaning products that contain chlorinated solvents, ketones or esters, which could damage the powder-coated surface of aluminium decking boards. Finish cleaning the boards by rinsing the surface with plain water.
How to Install
Aluminium Decking?
Installing aluminium decking can be performed using aluminium decking joists, starter clips and hidden clips with and screws, all of which are available via our website. Using pedestals (not supplied), aluminium decking boards can be installed securely over concrete, allowing for a drainage gradient of 12.5mm fall per metre. Aluminium joists should be placed at maximum centres of 600mm, leaving a 2-3mm gap for expansion between each board. Aluminium decking installations can be completed using colour-matched aluminium skirting trims and corner trims to produce a professionally-finished decking area.

Timber Decking
Cladco Timber
Decking Boards
If you are in search of consistent and dependable timber decking, we have you covered with our top-quality timber decking boards. Crafted from responsibly-sourced softwood spruce, our timber boards not only deliver strength and reliability but also imbue your project with a timeless, natural aesthetic that will last for years. Spruce is a well-renowned choice due to its hard-wearing properties, with our timber decking boards kiln dried to ensure increased stability and water resistance. Timber boards are green pressure treated with Tanalith ‘E’ and are C24 graded for structural stability to improve resistance and durability once installed.
Maintaining Timber
Decking Boards
Cladco timber decking boards are easy to maintain, allowing you to keep them looking great for years to come. We recommend keeping your deck free from debris by regularly sweeping the surface to remove fallen leaves, berries or grass cuttings, for example. Pressure washing can be performed to remove tougher marks and using a wood treatment preservative, or stainer, can improve the resistant properties of wooden decking boards. If you require a deeper clean, sanding is also an option for taking off the top layer and then treating with a wood preservative for longer lasting quality and natural results.
How to install
Timber Decking?
We offer timber joists and posts that perfectly complement your decking installation, providing a cohesive and sturdy structural framework for your project. Our timber decking boards can be fixed in place using stainless steel wood screws and can be painted or stained for additional protection benefits. Timber decking boards should be installed on top of a sturdy base so you can achieve a natural wooden decked area that will be reliable. From pathways to large seating areas, timber decking is a versatile product that can be adapted using standard woodworking tools, making these boards very easy to work with.
