What is in Cladco Fibre Cement Cladding?
Cladco fibre cement cladding boards are attractive, lightweight and durable, designed to look like timber, without ongoing maintenance and expenses associated with wood. These boards are manufactured using state of the art technology, with high-quality, robust materials, ensuring the chemically bonded fibrous boards can withstand harsh weather conditions. They are painted using a three-layer paint-and-bake method for resistance.
Maintaining Your Fibre Cement Cladding
The painted surface of the fibre cement boards makes them more resistant to damage as well as staining. If however, dirt or debris does appear on the cladding, it is simple to remove. Using a mild household dish soap with cold or lukewarm water can be used for cleaning. It is important to note that high-pressure cleaning systems should not be used to clean the fibre cement boards as this could cause damage to the finish.
How to Install Fibre Cement Cladding
Our fibre cement lap cladding boards are easily installed using a feather board technique. The boards are installed horizontally with a 30mm overlap, creating a seamless installation across your project. Installing horizontally allows water to easily run off as well as aesthetically upgrading the exterior of your home. Our fibre cement cladding can be cut using traditional woodworking tools, no specialised equipment is required.
