How To Calculate Square Metres

Working out the total square meterage of your roof will require measuring the total width of the roof’s area as well as the distance from the eaves (the lowest point) to the apex (the highest point) of the roof. This should be undertaken carefully and safely.

We recommend taking these measurements from the inside of your building for safety purposes. Multiply the two measurements together to give the total square meterage of the roof.

For apex, or dual-sided, roofs, you will need to work out the square meterage of each side of the roof and add the numbers together for the total coverage.

After receiving my samples we made the decision to proceed and order a new roof for the stable, the sheets 4.5 mtrs long so no joints. The people at CLADCO were very polite and helpful and sorted the whole kit the helpfulness didn't stop there, Chris the warehouse man / temp driver was also a credit to the company .. last of all the product is brilliant well worth the money
